Launched on April 04, 1999, with English daily The Pioneer, the Dalit Diary has entered into tenth year of its publication. India’s one of the oldest newspapers, The Pioneer has eight print editions – Delhi, Lucknow, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar and Kochi. Considered as India first weekly column written by a Dalit, the Dalit Diary gets reproduced every next week by Telugu daily Vaartha, and every month by Kannad Dalit journal Samvada. Appearing every Sunday, the column has continued till now uninterrupted.
